About ZU

The Zanzibar University, the first University on the Isles, a private institution founded by Darul Iman Charitable Association (DICA)

Location

The main campus is situated at Tunguu area, in the Central District while other campus is located at Mpendae.

Registration

The University received it's letter of Interim Registration in 1998, then Certificate of Provisional Registration in 1999, and finally it's Certificate of Full Registration on 4th May, 2000.

Membership

The University is a Member of various institutions such as IUCEA, ACU, AAU, TAPU, TUSA, TACOGA, ZHELB, HESLB, NAMA, ADB, SAVE CHILDREN.

The Spring of Knowledge and Virtue.
