Institute Background

The establishment of the Zanzibar University Institute of Continuing Education (ZUICE) is a noteworthy achievement. It came into existence during the 20th session of the University Council on November 30, 2006, and its primary aim is to promote knowledge across various fields through a range of offerings, including short courses, workshops, and training programs.The ICE motto is “striving for a competitive edge in developing and enhancing the skills of human capital for outstanding performance and self-reliance.”

Our goal is to enhance knowledge, skills, and ethical values, contributing to the betterment of individuals in Tanzania and beyond."

Using the resources from various Faculties, Directorates of Zanzibar University and other external sources, the Institute offers various non-degree programmes leading to NTA and UQF Level certificates and Diplomas.
